Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic slated for Saturday, October 17th
September 21, 2020
Free flu shots for everyone ages 4 and up
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital will host the sixth annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic on Saturday, October 17, 2020, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the hospital parking lot.
The hospital is reserving the first half hour of the event (from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM) for senior citizens. From 8:30 to 12:00 PM, anyone ages four and up may receive a flu shot while supplies last.
The staff and administration of NNRH are pleased to provide a free flu shot to everyone in the community who needs one. The Centers for Disease Control recommend that nearly everybody should receive a yearly flu vaccine, especially children and senior citizens.
If participants would like to give back to the community, NNRH will be accepting donations of canned-food, which will be distributed to local food banks. However, the flu shots are completely free and no donation is required.
The hospital kindly asks that all participants wear masks or face coverings when they roll down their car windows to interact with staff and receive their shot. All healthcare personnel will be masked and gloved as well.
