Thompson selected to serve on subcommittee by the National Association of Medical Staff Services
Heidi M. Thompson, CPMSM, CPCS (Certified Professional, Medical Services Management), (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist), has been selected by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) to serve a three-year term on the “Item Writing Team”. The Item Writing Team is a subcommittee of the Certification Board of NAMSS and is responsible for writing test questions for the two, certification examinations available to professionals in the field. Ms. Thompson will attend a four-day training session to be held in Chicago in mid-January 2005. Ms. Thompson has expressed that “it is a great honor to be selected by the national organization for such a responsibility.”
