Julia Wadford- November 2002, Service Excellence Award Winner
Julia Wadford, NNRH Admitting Clerk, has been recognized as the November
Service Excellence Award winner. Julia is a very hard worker but also goes
an extra mile with her compassion for patients and their families. A
coworker writes, "Recently one of our patients and family was in and out of
the hospital quite often. Julia was the person who checked this patient in
each time. Sadly, the patient passed away during the month of November. One
day Julia noticed the spouse walking around and looking lost. Julia went to
the gift shop and bought a card with a little angel and took it to her.
They both began to cry and Julia gave her a hug. " Julia is a wonderful
example of the positive difference people make in the lives of others. To
Julia, her work at the hospital is more than just a job.
