“The best thing about the Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital ER nurses is their commitment to patient care.”

The emergency room is staffed 24 hours a day with an all RN staff. Many of them have attained the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification, which requires training and experience above and beyond the RN license. The best thing about the Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital ER nurses is their commitment to patient care. Being an ER nurse requires a commitment to perpetual education as new research comes forth. All nurses in the ER have passed the Advanced Cardiac Life Support class and most have passed the Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Trauma Nurse core classes. It is the ER nurses’ job to be ready at a moment’s notice to step in and save a life. This requires team work, effective communication, skills and experience.
