What is Respiratory Therapy?
Respiratory Therapy is one part of the Cardiopulmonary Department at Northeastern
Nevada Regional Hospital. The other part is cardio or dealing with the heart. We handle
Therapies related to both.
We provide many services to our patients, including patient education regarding their
disease process, nebulizer treatments, EKG's, EEG's, stress testing with the use of a
treadmill, or by other means, and we also operate a Sleep Lab to diagnose our Obstructive Sleep Apnea patients.
We work closely with the physicians to coordinate patient care whether it involves a respiratory or cardiac need.
