What is an EKG?
An E.K.G., also referred to as an E.C.G. is a recording of the electric conduction of the heart. It can monitor up to 12 views of the heart's activity, referred to as a 12 lead EKG. An EKG assists the healthcare provider in determining whether an arrhythmia or abnormality exists within the heart.
