Michele Acheson

Michele Acheson, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Medical Records Clerk, has been named a Service Excellence Award Winner. In the words of her peer, "Michele works in Medical Records but is always willing to help out in Diagnostic Imaging. She fills in when people are sick, answers phones, assists patients, locates orders and retrieves files. She's awesome."

Michele has worked in Medical Records for one year and worked in the diagnostic imaging department for a total of five years previous to that. Michele's willingness to share the responsibilities and burdens of other departments helps reduce operating costs when the patient census is low.

Ann Cariker

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is fortunate to have great leaders who "walk the talk." In the words of a coworker, "Ann creates a dynamic work environment and treats her staff as individuals, bringing out the best in evrybody. Ann truly has a heart for nursing and very good patient care as her ultimate goal. I am proud to work for her. " Another writes, " Ann has great communication with our nursing staff. She will always take the time and listen to their concerns and issues and help whenever she can. Whether it is answering phones in ER, consoling patient families or even transferring the patients, I feel she has gone above and beyond keeping our hospital and staff informed during the most trying times, so they were able to give the best care to our patients."
