Chamberlain and Kerr Appointed to NNRH Governing Board
ELKO, NEVADA, April 3, 2002 – “We are pleased to announce that Brent Chamberlain and Annette Kerr have been appointed to the Governing Board of Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital,” announced Jim Seward, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Chief Executive Officer. “We are honored to have Ms. Kerr and Mr. Chamberlain join us as we continue to move forward in establishing Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital as a regional leader in providing quality healthcare services.”
Kerr and Chamberlain were recently appointed by Province Healthcare to serve in two newly created seats, expanding the board from 10 to 12. NNRH’s Governing Board is comprised of members of the community and medical staff with Charlene Chambers of Mountain City currently serving as the board chair. Other 2002 NNRH Governing Board Members include Dr. Ricardo Almaguer, current NNRH Chief of Staff; Ted Blohm of Blohm Jewelery; Marcia Bandera; Dr. Mark Capener; Annette Mills, local Certified Public Accountant; Mike Nannini of Coldwell Banker and Wells 4-Way Café and Casino; Dr. Jill Oswalt of Ruby Crest Emergency Medicine; Dr. Don Wasserman of Noreastern Nevada Urology; and Audrey White of Dale White Motors.
Kerr is the Chief Executive Officer of the Red Lion Inn & Casino /McClaskey Properties and was the previous Director of the University of Nevada Reno Fire Science Academy in Carlin. Chamberlain is the Manager of Human Resources at Anglo Gold (Jerritt Canyon) Corporation. He is recognized in the community for his efforts in successfully locating the Sherman Station to the Elko City Park where it now houses the Elko Chamber of Commerce and serves as a visitor’s information center.
