New Device - Tonopen...
Emergency room physician, Jill Oswalt, is pictured demonstrating a new device used to measure and provide digital readouts on interocular pressure, called a tonopen. The tonopen is used on babies, trauma victims or unconscious patients who are unable to lift their head and chin onto the equipment normally used to measure the pressure. The technology is used to investigate acute eye pain, loss of vision, foreign body in the eye or head trauma.
